I am an open book
my soul's prose
written on each
timeworn page
I want you to read me
so you remember
my past
........present
................... future
scripted by the words
that have been written
with my heart
I want you to understand
every line
............passage
....................chapter
making notations
highlighting words
underlining
each memory
so you will not
forget
all I am
in your hands
I am an open book
my soul exposed
with every letter
dancing in your mind
drawing pictures
.............thoughts
.......................memories
of all that I
have become
because of you

I am yours to read
to know like
the back of your hand
.............your heart
.......................your soul
