Spring Ring Fling and Other Pretty Things

By popular demand I bring you the Spring Ring Fling- and other pretty things. Lately my customers have been caling fro rings in all shapes and sizes. As the world of ring making is new to me, I have been taking cautious little steps toward "getting them out there" so to speak. So, here we go...a little ring fling for the spring ~ just when things are beginning to bloom. All items are available in my Etsy Studio Shop...which by the way, I have a BOGO sale going on for Mother's Day. Check it out for great deals at a reasonable price.

The Burden

I have passed my time

as I have lifted up the sorrows

with broken back and battered hands

I have molded you a life

To what purpose have you spent your time

chasing dreams that have left you shallow

corrupt and unforgiving

of my human kindness

I am left here

my soul consumed with anger

to bear your burden of discontent

without generosity in my heart

I am no longer your reflection

the image of a girl crippled so long ago

by your opression and fear

I am no longer your fulfillment

the elixer for your parched soul

that has squandered its riches

I am no longer indebted to you

for the price that you have demanded

has left me barren

in my sympathy

I am the pheonix that rises

with the sun of a new day

without the dedication

to you

The Voice of Inspiration

I was on Facebook today and came across a fan club for a lady named Susan Boyle. An unassuming 47 year old woman that comes from a village...you know, ordinary gal. Why on earth was this gal so special?

It was her dream to sing in front of a large crowd. To be onstage and sing her heart out. The judges looked at her in amusement, thinking that they were going to get just the same old version of a whiny love song...were they suprised! This lovely lady sang her heart out and had the courage to live her dream. At the ripe old age of 47.

This is the link to her performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY

You are never too old to live your dreams. Never to far gone to find your way to who you truly are. You are always able to make your life amazing...just give it a try. Have courage. have faith that you will be supported in your hearts truest desires. You have the ability to become everything that you have always dreamed of. All you need to do is believe.

Cheers to Susan for going after her dream when others laughed in her face, doubted her and snickered. She had the last laugh on them.

The Earring Binge

As you can see, this is what I just had to make yesterday. I still haven't picked a favorite...and I'm not sure that I really have to :) It is a binge after all! So have 1, 2,5, 30...who cares. The only thing hung over would be your checkbook.

Tallissa

Oh, I have been remiss, I know. I'm supposed to be posting more often than not...yet, lately my world just seems to be consumed with others. Service to others, taking care of others, working for others...that it seems as if my time is the scarcest of commodities. So, here are some little ditties that have been created in the little time that I can carve out for moi. I hope that you like them

Until next time, my friends (which will be sooner than, later...I Promise!)
