We were all gathered for a celebration

for one of my darling girls

was being honored

commended by her peers

for being a good citizen

for helping those in need

for always lending a hand

for helping to teach others

I am so proud

For this Mother's Day

I celebrate my children

for they are the reason

for my greatest joy

to see them become

extraordinary

right before my eyes

has been the greatest
