A Garden Full of Delight

Pictures from my garden...finally!
 It's been so rainy that I was afraid we would have to start buliding an ark...
but these beautiful blooms have been worth the wait!

New trinkets all around

All coming soon to Kasia Blue just for you!

As you know, I love the color blue, so I would be remiss if I didn't include some blue pieces in my Fall Collection.  This year I am trending towards some stronger colors and more wrapped and hand forged pieces(so new and exciting for me!).  There is more to come for sure in the days ahead...some nature inspired foliage pieces and Fall colors just for a little tease.  So, stay tuned and see what's new!

Spring Inspired Necklaces

A glorious Gold Vermeil Calla Lilly and creamy freshwater pearl on vermeil chain making a delicate and romantic statement.  Available in White Gold Vermeil as well.

Just a couple of my new spring designs.  I have been working on revamping my items and design lines...becoming more in tune with my designer side and less of the production side.  In fact, I have taken apart so many of my old designs over the past week to recreate something new and beautiful.  I now have a bevy of beauties to play with!  So, stay tuned ....

p.s. the kitties are starting to adjust, but are still very skittish.  We make progress every day :)

New Items for a New Year

~*::Pantrielle, $32::*~

Today is my birthday.  38.  The number doesn't scare me, even as it inches closer to the infamous 4-oh.  A small blessing is that I don't have to "work" today and the day is my own...after I renew my license, go grocery shopping and send out a few orders.  As my "middle life" approaches, I find that the person that I have become is better than I had ever dreamed of.

~*::L'Auren, $35::*~
There are many reasons to celebrate this year, one of which is the launch of my new website.  Although the marketplaces on which I sell have looked kindly on me, I still felt a need to have a place of my own.  It has turned out beautifully and I am sure that it will grow and evolve as my designs do as well.  If you have a chance, check it out here....  http://kasiablue.com/  And, a big thanks to Lynda of Exquisite Expressions for all of her hard work.  It has turned out just lovely :)

~*:: Daffodils, $32::*~

~*:: Paon, $32::*~
So here a few pictures of my new designs.  I've had an earring fetish lately so that's what I have been making.  I hope that you enjoy them.

As a side note, I would like to say a most heartfelt thank you to all that have sent loving thoughts and and tear inducing comments in memory of our lovely little Sophie.  She will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Thank you everyone for your sweetness.

Inspire Me Mondays...the weight of water

~*::{From my garden}::*~
The flowers are falling
heavy from
God's tears
encumbered by the
weight of water
they are no longer
held up
by resisitance
their stalks bent
their faces turned
downward
as if in deep
prayer
I suppose
it is fitting
that the flowers
are a reflection
of a heavy heart
kneeling on the
soggy ground
waiting for the sun
to come and dry
its tears
Today
I am held up
by the weight
of water
for after the floods
come rebirth
and renewal
new sprouts of grass
stand up with vigor
flowers turn their faces
to the sun
able to breathe
once again

Inspire Me Mondays...trash talk

~*::{A Black Eyed Susan, led astray from her home, in front of the fence}::*~

A very short time ago
I became angry
out of nowhere it seemed
it was just a simple task
I was asked to perform
and all I felt
was angry

I don't know where
the tidal wave came from
the overbearing sense
of blood boiling release
I simply could not do it

again

I could not clean up
the mess left behind
from some one else
when my "house"
was full of neglect

My soul simply could not
bear it
my heart too overdrawn
my body full
of bounced checks
the giving well
had just run dry

I just let it ebb and flow
I let it do it's job
and release the trash
that was holding me back
hoping that this time
my heart would be clean

Inspire Me Mondays...The Other Side of the Fence

Sometimes we're on the other side of the fence. We are looking in and over, straining to get a view of what seems to be a mystery. Many times the fence is too high, the slats too close together, the hole just a little too small to get a clear picture. Yet we keep on looking for a little snippet of the unknown.
Isn't life that way sometimes? We keep looking on to the next thing, trying to solve the mystery, while forgetting about what we are doing in the here and now. I myself, have been just that person standing on my tippie toes waiting for the magical to appear.
It has been a battle to live in the now. My nature normally doesn't allow it, as I have always lived lifetimes ahead of what I was ready for. Although, I have been trying :)
The pictures above were taken at Seaworld on our recent trip to Florida. All of these beauties were behind a fence of some kind.
Funny how things pan out on the other side...this time, they were beautiful.

Lift Your Face to the Sun

~*::Day Lillies::*~

~*::Peony::*~

~*::Flame Rose::*~

~*::}{::*~
For all of the beautiful faces
that forget to feel the warmth
of the sun
because they feel
unworthy
of it's sparkling
love
Lift your faces
so the world can see
the loveliness
that is
You
