A Garden Full of Delight

Pictures from my garden...finally!
It's been so rainy that I was afraid we would have to start buliding an ark...
but these beautiful blooms have been worth the wait!

Fall Projection

~*:: Modesta, Fine Silver, Amethyst, Aquamarine & Blue Topaz, $129 ::*~
~*:: Regina, Purple Quartz and gold vermeil earrings, $39 ::*~
~*:: Mantarre Earrings, Vintage Glass Jewels in Brass, $ 29 ::*~
Fall is going to bring great change for me this year...some planned and some brought on by the decisions of others leading their lives.  With that said, I have started  my Fall 2010 collection.  One dotted with deeply spiritual colors, gemstones with great meaning and designs that will be a bit more intricate than ones from the past.  I hope that you enjoy this sneak peek at what is to come.

And The Winner of the Kaleidoscope Giveaway is...

Many of you have been waiting to hear who won, who won?  Well, first of all I want to say thank you to all of my new friends...it's been so nice to get to know you.  Welcome to my blog and other sites.  I hope that what I say and do will keep you here for a long time to come.  And also, to many of my wonderful "old" friends (because we know that age is a state of mind) for supporting me in so many ways.  I am so grateful for all of you and your encouraging words.  All of you are priceless to me!

So....want to know??? Ok, so here it is, the winner of the Kaleidoscope Necklace Giveaway is...

Som of Som's Studio!

Her choices were of the cooler palette in either Blue or Purple.  Once this lovely lady chooses her favorite, I'll send it off to balmy India to hopefully give her some cool respite.

Som, please contact me on Facebook so that we can exchange information, or by email!

Again, thank you to all of you for participating and having fun!  Stay tuned on my blog for more previews of designs and some random musings from my crazy, overloaded brain.
And, if you just can't live without one of these trinkets, they will be available soon at my website, http://www.kasiablue.com/ and my Etsy store too.

Inspire Me Mondays...the weight of water

~*::{From my garden}::*~
The flowers are falling
heavy from
God's tears
encumbered by the
weight of water
they are no longer
held up
by resisitance
their stalks bent
their faces turned
downward
as if in deep
prayer
I suppose
it is fitting
that the flowers
are a reflection
of a heavy heart
kneeling on the
soggy ground
waiting for the sun
to come and dry
its tears
Today
I am held up
by the weight
of water
for after the floods
come rebirth
and renewal
new sprouts of grass
stand up with vigor
flowers turn their faces
to the sun
able to breathe
once again
